Alderman Newton's Educational Foundation

Alderman Newton's Educational Foundation is a Leicester-based charity offering financial support to individuals to help access education and training opportunities. The Foundation provides grants to help with course fees, accommodation costs, travel, materials and equipment, educational trips and visits, and any other costs directly associated with courses of study. Most grants are under £5,000, with no set limit on the amount that can be applied for. Students can receive one grant per academic year, and while previous recipients can apply in future years, there is no guarantee of further funding. Applications should be submitted at least 3 months in advance of the course start date, and the Foundation cannot meet retrospective costs.
