About This Opportunity
The Aleksander Matejko Memorial Prize is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated excellence in Polish coursework including history, sociology, language, and/or culture of Poland. Preference is given to students with financial need. The prize is funded by endowed funds from the Polish Culture Society and friends and family of the late Professor Aleksander Matejko, founder of the Polish Culture Society.
