About This Opportunity
The Aletheia Annual Philosophy Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshman or transfer students majoring in Philosophy or Philosophy: Integrative Studies who have been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Applicants must submit a brief essay of minimum 750 words explaining why they think philosophy is important in today's society and how it has affected their personal life or beliefs. Financial need may be a consideration in the selection process. Recipients are not eligible to apply for the award again. The award is announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
