Alexa W. Church Veterinary Medicine Scholarship

The Alexa W. Church Veterinary Medicine Scholarship is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Calgary. This scholarship recognizes academic merit and excellence in large animal medicine. The award is specifically designed for students who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing large animal health in their future careers. Two awards are available each year, one designated for a student in year 3 and one for a student in year 4 of the program. The scholarship was established by the Church Family to support and encourage veterinary students dedicated to large animal medicine.
