Alfred T. Caffiero Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Alfred T. Caffiero Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 2001 and amended in 2005 by the friends and colleagues of Alfred T. Caffiero to honor his legacy in the field of physical therapy. This scholarship is specifically designed to support second-year Doctorate of Physical Therapy students enrolled in the School of Public Health and Health Professions at the University at Buffalo. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate high academic merit, excellence in public service, and promise in the field of Physical Therapy. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, commitment to community service, dedication to teaching and supporting others within the academic and professional community, and financial need. The award provides $1,250 to support the educational expenses of deserving doctoral students pursuing careers in physical therapy.
