About this opportunity
The Alice Groff Pennybacker Secondary Education Scholarship supports students pursuing secondary education certification who plan to become teachers. The scholarship requires recipients to be full-time students accepted to Eastern Illinois University with an overall GPA of 2.5 or better. Preference is given to students who graduated from high schools in Lawrence County, Illinois. If all other criteria are equal, recipient selection is determined by financial need. The award is announced in the Spring and awarded in the Fall semester.
