About this opportunity
The Alicia Johnson Memorial Scholarship provides financial support to Indigenous law students enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws at Charles Darwin University. This scholarship encourages completion by easing some of the financial burdens associated with studying a Higher Education course. The scholarship is valued at approximately $9,000 total over 3 years and is specifically designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are residents of the Northern Territory. Three scholarships are offered in this program. Applicants must demonstrate passion, ability and initiative in their approach to study, show commitment to the Northern Territory and an intention to use their skills in this area, and outline their career or progression intentions upon course completion.
