About this opportunity
The Alison White Honors Prizes are awarded to students with superior academic achievement who are convocating in the Honors program of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Recipients are students who maintain the highest GPA in the four years of their programs. One prize is given in each of the Faculty's three disciplines: the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Fine Arts, while the other two prizes are awarded in any of the three disciplines. No Honors prize will be awarded to a student with a GPA of less than 3.7. The prizes are funded through endowed funds from a bequest from the Estate of Alice (Alison) Genevieve White, formerly a member of the English Department, and through donations from the Faculty of Arts.
