Alison White Prize in Children's Literature

The Alison White Prize in Children's Literature is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement in the area of senior Children's Literature at the University of Alberta. The award is endowed by members of the English Department and friends of Alison White, as well as through a bequest from the Estate of Alice (Alison) Genevieve White, who was formerly a member of the English Department. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding performance in senior-level Children's Literature coursework while maintaining a satisfactory academic record overall. Students are automatically considered for this prize based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
