About this opportunity
The Allan and Dorothy Durie Memorial Bursary was created by their family in memory of Allan and Dorothy Durie, who believed in the value of education to all young Canadians and the importance of teachers and mentors in our lives. This award is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need. The bursary is specifically designed to support students enrolled in the Werklund School of Education or the Faculty of Arts with a major in Canadian Studies or Communication Studies. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who are in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study at the University of Calgary.
