Allan Clowes Family Athletic Award

The Allan Clowes Family Athletic Award is offered annually to a full-time student entering the Haskayne School of Business who is a member of the Dinos Women's Ice Hockey team at the University of Calgary. The award recognizes both academic achievement and athletic contribution to the university's women's ice hockey program. The award is renewable for up to five years, covering second, third, fourth, and fifth year of study. To maintain the award, recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00 in the previous fall and winter terms, continue their enrollment in the Haskayne School of Business, and remain an active member of the Dinos Women's Ice Hockey team. Recipients must also maintain satisfactory academic standing throughout their studies. The award provides up to $3,000 annually and was established by donor Allan Clowes. This is an internal athletic award that does not require a separate application from eligible students. Recipients are selected based on their contribution to the Dinos Women's Ice Hockey program and their academic standing.
