Allan Gibson Accountancy Scholarship

The Allan Gibson Accountancy Scholarship was established in 1980 by Allan R. Gibson, a Palmerston North chartered accountant, to provide assistance to deserving accountancy students. The scholarship recognizes the valuable contribution Massey University makes toward the development of the accountancy profession in New Zealand. This undergraduate scholarship is designed for second-year or third-year students enrolled in an undergraduate qualification with a focus on accountancy who have an interest in the rural, agricultural and/or agrifood industries. The scholarship provides financial support of $5,000 for one year's duration to help students complete their qualification. Recipients are selected based on academic achievements, intentions to contribute to rural, agricultural and/or agrifood industries upon completion of studies, and financial need.
