Allan Sangster Prize

The Allan Sangster Prize is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the School of Creative and Performing Arts, Division of Music at the University of Calgary. This prize recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence in music history or music theory courses. The award is valued at up to $500 and is offered to one student per year. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, specifically their performance in music history or music theory coursework. The prize is internally funded by the School of Creative and Performing Arts, Division of Music at the University of Calgary.
