About this opportunity
The Allen D McConnell Scholarship was established in 1999 by a donation from Mr Allen McConnell to encourage research and study in the fields of hydraulics and fluid mechanics. The scholarship aims to support postgraduate research students in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. The scholarship has particular emphasis on the areas of flood control, irrigation, catchment management, water conservation, coastal engineering, sustainable energy, and environmental fluid mechanics. The scholarship provides financial support to full-time master's by research or PhD students in the School of Civil Engineering who are researching or willing to research in these specialized areas.
