About this opportunity
Alliance Automation is a leading Australian industrial automation and electrical engineering company that seeks to support tertiary education for Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic), Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) or Bachelor of Computer Science students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial or other barriers to completing a degree. The scholarship will offset some living and study related costs, giving students the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement. Preference for the scholarship may also go towards supporting an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student. The scholarship is paid in instalments of $2,500 per semester after confirmation of enrolment at Census Date, for up to 4 semesters. Alliance Automation may also choose to offer recipients or other applicants paid vacation work or other work placement opportunities. Short-listed students will be requested to provide a current resume and cover letter prior to being invited to a selection interview.
