Review process
Three-step assessment: First, a multidisciplinary and multisectoral selection committee (PIVP Selection Committee) assesses whether the application fits Alliance Society objectives. Second, external reviewers evaluate overall merit based on four equally weighted criteria: partnership, research plan and team, training, and research impact and benefits to Canada. Third, the PIVP Selection Committee ranks meritorious applications for competitive funding. Risk assessment review for partnerships with private sector organizations.
