ALPSS Overseas Exchange Scholarship

The ALPSS Overseas Exchange Scholarship is offered by the University of Waikato to support students enrolled in the Division of Arts, Law, Psychology and Social Science (ALPSS) who wish to participate in international exchange programs. The scholarship provides financial assistance ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 NZD, depending on the exchange destination. This funding opportunity is designed to facilitate global learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who have completed at least one year of study in an ALPSS-offered program. Recipients must be accepted into the Waikato Global Experiences Programme, which enables students to study abroad at partner institutions while earning credits toward their Waikato degree. The scholarship helps offset costs associated with international exchange, including travel, accommodation, and living expenses, making global educational opportunities more accessible to students in the arts, law, psychology, and social sciences.
