Alstahaug kommunes kulturpris

Alstahaug kommunes kulturpris (Alstahaug Municipality's Cultural Prize) is an annual award that recognizes individuals, teams, associations, institutions, or groups who have made particularly significant contributions to and within the cultural life of the municipality. The prize is administered by a committee consisting of the mayor, the head of culture sector, and a member appointed by the municipal council for each election period. The committee works according to established guidelines and may award the prize freely or based on received nominations. The cultural prize is awarded by the mayor at the last municipal council meeting of the year or at another appropriate occasion. The prize has been awarded annually since 1991, with one exception in 1994, and has recognized a diverse range of cultural contributors including individuals, choirs, sports clubs, festivals, theaters, and associations.
