AltaLink Centennial Scholarship

The AltaLink Centennial Scholarship is designed to support students pursuing University Transfer programs at Red Deer Polytechnic. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students from rural Alberta communities, recognizing academic achievement, financial need, and demonstrated leadership through community involvement. Two scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded annually to full-time students in their first or second year of a University Transfer program who plan to continue their studies at Red Deer Polytechnic in the subsequent academic year. Recipients must have a permanent home address in a rural Alberta community with a population of less than 20,000. The scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers for rural students pursuing higher education and rewards those who have shown commitment to their communities through leadership and service.
