About this opportunity
The Altrusa Club of Wenatchee Scholarship supports the education of women graduates from Wenatchee Valley College who are committed to continuing their education. This scholarship was established when the local Altrusa chapter, part of an international service club, maintained alumni status and created a scholarship fund at the Community Foundation of NCW with remaining funds. The scholarship reflects the Altrusa Alumni's belief in women's education and their commitment to helping female students advance in their chosen fields. The award is paid over two years and requires recipients to demonstrate educational progress and maintain successful academic performance to receive the second year of funding. Recipients must be enrolled full-time at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States, demonstrate scholastic ability and financial need, and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
