Alumni Fund Post Graduate Sanctuary Scholarship

The Alumni Fund Post Graduate Sanctuary Scholarship is designed for asylum seekers living in the UK who wish to pursue taught postgraduate master's studies at the University of Bath. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to students who are not eligible for UK postgraduate financial support from Student Finance. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees through a fee waiver and provides a bursary of up to £20,780 to help with course-related and living costs. This scholarship is specifically aimed at individuals with UK asylum seeker status, UK discretionary leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application), or UK limited leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application). The scholarship supports students starting studies in the 2025/26 academic year and is available for full-time or part-time taught postgraduate programs leading to MSc, MA, MBA, or stand-alone MRes degrees. The University of Bath offers one scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year as part of its commitment to supporting sanctuary seekers in accessing higher education opportunities.
