Alumni Scholarship for Tertiary Foundation Certificate Students

The Alumni Scholarship for Tertiary Foundation Certificate Students is a scholarship established in 2019 and funded by the Alumni Scholarships Fund at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the scholarship is to support students in their first year of study after graduating from the University of Auckland Tertiary Foundation Certificate (TFC) programme who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. This scholarship provides $7,000 to New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents who have completed a TFC programme and are intending to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree in the following year. Up to 6 scholarships are awarded annually, with a tenure of one year. The scholarship aims to assist with study costs and remove financial barriers to higher education for TFC graduates transitioning to undergraduate studies.
