About this opportunity
A scholarship valued at up to $1,500 will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year One of Civil or Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Waterloo, St. Jacobs, or Elmira, Ontario. This entrance scholarship recognizes academic performance and requires completion of an Admission Information Form (AIF) and online video interview. The fund was established through a donation from James Snider in honour of his grandfather, A.M. Snider, to support incoming engineering students from specific Ontario communities as they begin their undergraduate studies.
