Amanda Kent Education Annual Scholarship

The Amanda Kent Education Annual Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Education at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship is specifically designed for students focused on elementary and middle level education with an emphasis on science education. Recipients must be graduates from high schools in specified Illinois counties including Coles and surrounding counties, or Peoria and Tazewell counties. The scholarship requires applicants to maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need. As part of the application process, candidates must submit an essay providing a brief summary on how an educator has impacted their life and how they plan to impact their future students' lives. This award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester.
