About this opportunity
The Amanda McLean Teacher Scholarship is funded by Gene McLean and awarded through the Longmont Community Foundation. This scholarship provides a $2,000 award to one recipient who is graduating from or has graduated from a St. Vrain Valley School and will be attending the University of Northern Colorado to pursue a degree in Education to become a teacher. The scholarship is non-renewable and is intended to support students pursuing teaching careers. The recipient must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate (12 credit hours minimum) at UNC for the upcoming fall semester and maintain a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at the University of Northern Colorado. The award amount will be split between semesters.
