American Society for Metals Prize in Materials Engineering

The American Society for Metals Prize in Materials Engineering is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement in MAT E 202 (Materials Science II) who intends to continue with the Materials Program at the University of Alberta. The recipient is selected on the basis of academic standing in MAT E 202 (Materials Science II). This is an endowed award provided by The American Society for Metals (Edmonton Chapter) through the Faculty of Engineering. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application, making the application process streamlined for eligible candidates.
