Ana and Peter Lowens Scholarship in Victorian Literature

A scholarship of at least $1,000 awarded to an academically outstanding graduate student conducting research in nineteenth-century studies, with preference given to students whose research focuses on the Victorian era and includes use of materials in the University of Victoria Libraries' Special Collections. Approval of the recipient is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee on the recommendation of the Department of English. The scholarship requires a minimum A- average and is awarded based on nominations from eligible academic units. No application is required as candidates are nominated by the Department of English.
