Andrea L. Walnes Memorial Scholarship

The Andrea L. Walnes Memorial Scholarship is an award given to a student who is interested in Equine Sports Medicine. Preference is given for students who are former or current residents of Giles, Pulaski, or Montgomery Counties in Virginia, and/or who demonstrate an interest in working with children. This scholarship is available through Virginia Tech's Veterinary Medicine Apply-To Scholarships program and supports students pursuing veterinary medicine with a focus on equine sports medicine. The award amount varies and is highly competitive, requiring applicants to explain their qualifications and relevant experiences.
