Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarship

The Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 award available to senior soccer players in Sarasota County who will be receiving their high school diploma in the spring of 2026. This scholarship honors the memory of Andrew Monroe and supports student-athletes pursuing higher education. Three awards are available annually. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have participated in soccer and plan to attend a college, university, or technical institute. A letter of acceptance to a college, university, or technical institute must be provided by May 30th to be eligible. Recipients are required to submit a typed essay as part of the application process, which must be received by the deadline with no exceptions.
