Andrew Read Bursary in Engineering

The Andrew Read Bursary in Engineering is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students enrolled in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. This bursary honors Andrew 'Spleen' Read, who graduated from the chemical engineering program in 2005 and was beloved by his peers for his dedication and participation in campus life despite being born with cystic fibrosis. The award is given based on both academic merit and demonstrated financial need. Recipients must be continuing students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of engineering studies.
