About this opportunity
The Andrew Turnbull Scholarship was established in 2011 from funds gifted to Massey University by Mr Andrew Turnbull, a farmer from Taranaki, to support a deserving agricultural or horticultural student who was not eligible for agricultural and horticultural scholarships earlier in the year of application due to being enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) pre-selection semester at that time. This scholarship is available for candidates who are enrolled in the first year of an agricultural or horticultural degree and who were enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science pre-selection semester in semester 1 of the year of application. The scholarship provides financial support valued at $1,000 for one year's duration, with one award available annually. Recipients are selected based on high academic achievement and their demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in agriculture or horticulture.
