Angelina Fricchione and Michael Cupple Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming MD1 student at The Commonwealth Medical College who is a resident of Lackawanna County, demonstrates an interest in pursuing primary care medicine and practicing medicine in Northeastern PA, as well as merit based on academic achievement. The scholarship supports students entering medical school with a commitment to serving the local community through primary care. Recipients are selected by The Commonwealth Medical College based on academic merit, residency requirements, and demonstrated interest in primary care and regional practice. This funding opportunity is administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation as part of its scholarship portfolio serving the Northeastern Pennsylvania region.
