ANMC Indigenous Nurse/Midwife Scholarship

This scholarship, introduced in 2016, is made possible by generous donations to the Australian Nurses Memorial Centre. The ANMC recognises the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses to the health and well-being of the community. The scholarship supports Indigenous nurses undertaking postgraduate nursing studies at an Australian university or other accredited higher education institution. The scholarship is open exclusively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are registered nurses or midwives seeking to advance their professional practice through postgraduate education. Applicants must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional practice through involvement in professional associations, team development, innovations in practice, research, conference presentations, or community service.
