About this opportunity
The Ann E. Myers Scholarship honors the legacy of Ann E. Myers, a National Board Certified Teacher who dedicated her career to elementary education in Ohio from 1973 to 2012. Ann taught in Lancaster and Dublin school systems, mentoring younger teachers and showing unwavering dedication to her students. After retirement, she volunteered extensively until her death in 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer. Established by her husband, this scholarship ensures that Ann's passion for teaching young students continues by supporting Dublin High School graduates pursuing careers in education. The scholarship awards $10,000 payable over four years at $2,500 per academic year to students who plan to major in education at U.S. educational institutions. Preference is given to past recipients, demonstrating the foundation's commitment to supporting students throughout their educational journey in the teaching profession.
