Ann Rylands Small Donations

The Ann Rylands Small Donations programme is designed to help smaller charities that work exclusively to provide health and care services in the UK. The programme offers unrestricted funding to charities providing practical and emotional support to people with physical or mental ill health, people living with a disability, and their families and carers. The Trust prioritises appeals from medium-sized charities with income between £100,000 and £2 million that are independent and do not receive a substantial proportion of income from government or local authority contracts. Funding areas include improved quality of life for older people, people with disabilities, people with serious illness or chronic conditions, palliative and end-of-life care, and mental health support. All grants are unrestricted except that research is not eligible. The maximum award is £5,000, with the average grant typically between £2,000 and £3,000.
