Anna J. Thorfinnson Memorial Scholarship

The Anna J. Thorfinnson Memorial Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate students at North Dakota State University who are pursuing specific majors in health, family, and consumer sciences fields. Eligible majors include Apparel, Merchandising & Design; Interior Design; Human Development and Family Science; Nutrition Science; Sport Management; Exercise Science; Family and Consumer Sciences Education; NDSU School of Education; and Hospitality & Event Management. Preference is given to students enrolled in Family and Consumer Science Education. To qualify, students must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additional preference is given to students who are active members of Phi Upsilon Omicron, the family and consumer sciences honor society. The scholarship award amount varies and students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the NDSU Scholarship Application system. This memorial scholarship honors Anna J. Thorfinnson and supports students pursuing careers in family and consumer sciences and related fields.
