Anne and Abner Selvig Scholarship

The Anne and Abner Selvig Scholarship is awarded to students who have declared a major in the Department of Communication at North Dakota State University. Eligible students must have established a minimum grade point average of 2.5 in the first two years of study at NDSU. The scholarship recognizes students who exhibit strong leadership characteristics through involvement in extra-curricular events where positions of leadership and organizational skills are utilized. These activities should benefit NDSU through meaningful participation. Financial need is not a primary consideration for award purposes, but it can be taken into account if more than one student meets the eligibility criteria. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application in the NDSU scholarship system.
