About this opportunity
The Anne Marie Cameron Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 and is specifically designed to support graduating students in the Veterinary Technology program at Lakeland College's Vermilion campus. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence combined with extracurricular involvement and career aspirations in equine veterinary medicine.
Eligible candidates must be full-time Veterinary Technology students who are graduating and who have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their studies. The scholarship places particular emphasis on students who have been active members of the rodeo club and who show a clear interest in pursuing a career in equine veterinary practice.
In addition to academic and career-related criteria, the scholarship values students who maintain a positive attitude. The award amount is $350, and it is offered to students in Agricultural Sciences who are continuing their education. The scholarship is funded by Bob & Shirley Cameron in memory of Anne-Marie Cameron.
