Bröstcancerförbundet is Sweden's only interest organization focusing exclusively on breast cancer. The organization finances breast cancer research, offers support and rehabilitation, and drives advocacy in breast cancer issues. With approximately 12,000 members and 34 breast cancer associations around the country, Bröstcancerförbundet announces its 2025 application round for research projects on patient-centered breast cancer research. The preliminary distributable amount for 2025 is 13 million SEK. Applications must focus on breast cancer research with patient-centered anchoring. The grant supports research projects for one year at a time, with reporting on the project's planned duration. Applications can constitute partial financing of larger projects but must clearly state which concrete sub-goals in the larger project the requested grant will be used for. Special priority is given to the project's patient benefit and research where the patient/person is the unit of measurement.
