Anthony S. Gugino Fund

The Anthony S. Gugino Fund is a scholarship established in 1976 and modified in 2012 by Drs. Robert J. Genco, Frank L. Graziano, Edward F. Mimmack, Norman D. Mohl, and Richard A. Valente, in honor of Dr. Anthony S. Gugino, DDS '22. This scholarship is awarded to a second-year student in the School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo who demonstrated excellence by acquiring the highest grade in the Dental and Oral Anatomy course during their first year of study. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in foundational dental education and honors the legacy of Dr. Gugino. The scholarship amount varies and is awarded annually to the top-performing student who meets the eligibility criteria.
