Anthony Warren Rucker Scholarship

The Anthony Warren Rucker Scholarship is intended for students who have an interest in pursuing a career in family medicine within a rural setting. Preference will be given to students who provide clear evidence of an authentic interest in rural, family medicine and who indicate effectively how this scholarship will affect their ability to grow in professional development towards a career as a rural, family medicine physician. The scholarship supports students pursuing allopathic or osteopathic medicine with the goal of practicing family medicine in rural areas. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment through personal and professional experiences and explain how the award will enable professional development opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable.
