About this opportunity
The Anton Jurgens Charitable Trust provides grants to registered UK-based charities supporting people of all ages who are socially disadvantaged and/or have disabilities. Established in 1969 and named after Anton Jurgens, one of the founders of Unilever, the Trust offers financial support up to GBP 10,000 to eligible charities. The London Committee is responsible for selecting which charities receive grants, with decisions made following spring (May) or autumn (November) committee meetings. Only charities with annual income not exceeding GBP 500,000 that have been registered for at least 3 years are eligible. Charities that have received a grant from AJCT in the past 3 years cannot reapply. The Trust focuses on supporting socially disadvantaged groups and individuals, excluding research, arts, cultural, or religious-based activities unless engaged in therapy development.
