Anton Tomc Memorial Award

The Anton Tomc Memorial Award is an annual scholarship awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of a program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. The recipient is selected based on active participation and contribution to engineering student activities, community service, and academic standing. The award was established through endowed funds by the family and friends of the late Anton Tomc, a former Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Alberta. At the discretion of the Selection Committee, the award may not be awarded if no suitably qualified student applies. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
