About this opportunity
The ANU Changing Futures Scholarship is offered annually by The Australian National University to provide financial support to students who have faced significant challenges so they may pursue their undergraduate studies at ANU. The scholarship is designed to support access and equity for domestic students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligible students include those who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, permanent humanitarian visa-holders, students who attended schools in low socioeconomic areas, or those who have experienced severe and long-term physical or psychological illness, condition or disability. The scholarship provides $8,000 per annum for up to five years, with payments made per semester upon confirmation of enrollment. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship when they apply directly to ANU for admission as a domestic undergraduate student, with no separate application required. Continuation of the scholarship is based on maintaining satisfactory academic performance throughout the duration of the undergraduate degree program.
