About this opportunity
The ANU College of Systems and Society Excellence Scholarship for Women is an annual scholarship program that offers up to twelve awards to support women studying Engineering and Computer Science disciplines at the undergraduate level who have experienced educational or other disadvantages. The scholarship aims to promote access and equity in STEM fields for women who have faced barriers to education.
Funding for this scholarship has been provided by the ANU College of Systems and Society. The scholarship is designed to assist domestic students who have completed an Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate (IB) qualification and who are eligible for adjustment factors under the National Access Scheme.
Recipients must identify as women, be domestic students, and receive an offer of admission to an undergraduate program offered by the ANU College of Systems and Society. The scholarship provides financial support over a two-year period to help students succeed in their undergraduate studies in Engineering and Computer Science.
Applicants are automatically considered for the award when they apply for admission through the direct Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and elect to be considered for scholarships.
