About This Opportunity

The ANU Cricket Club Scholarship is offered annually with the objective of attracting talented cricketers to the ANU Cricket Club, increasing access and opportunity for students to play cricket, and assisting in developing the cricketing potential of recipients. The scholarship provides social benefits of being an ANU Cricket Club member and aims to enhance university experience and career outcomes through membership. Funding for this award has been provided by ANU Cricket Club Alumni and friends, with particular recognition to ANUCC alumnus David Carland for his leadership in establishing this award. The scholarship offers a stipend of $5,000 per annum for up to 2 years, with payments made per semester. Recipients are required to register and play first grade cricket with ANU Cricket Club for the duration of the award. The scholarship is available to both prospective and current ANU students who are domestic students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs. Applicants must be actively playing cricket in a Junior/Senior Club or High School/College Cricket Competition and hold a current MyCricket Identification number at the time of application.
