About this opportunity
This scholarship is offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences. The purpose of this scholarship is to attract Australian and New Zealand students of high calibre to pursue PhD research in the Humanities or Social Sciences. The scholarship provides financial support for doctoral students undertaking research in humanities and social sciences fields at the Australian National University. The scholarship provides a living allowance paid fortnightly for 3.5 years with the possibility of a 6-month extension. Additional benefits include travel to Canberra from within Australia, reimbursement of some removal expenses, thesis reimbursement allowance, and paid medical, maternity and paternity leave. Recipients must maintain academic performance to continue receiving the scholarship.
