ANU Rural and Regional Equity Scholarship

The ANU Rural and Regional Equity Scholarship is offered annually by The Australian National University to increase access and provide opportunities for students from regional and remote areas of Australia to attend ANU. The scholarship aims to support first year students with accommodation and living costs, helping them engage in all facets of university life. Funding for this award has been provided by a group of ANU undergraduate students from rural and regional Australia who are passionate about giving back to the ANU and wider community. The scholarship is specifically designed to help students who have attended their final years of schooling in regional or rural schools and who are experiencing financial hardship. Selection is based on the severity of financial hardship experienced, with additional consideration given to SEIFA rankings and adjustment factors when applicants are equally ranked.
