About this opportunity
Each year the College of Science and the College of Health and Medicine at The Australian National University offer an award known as the ANU Science, Health and Medicine Indigenous Undergraduate Scholarship. The objective of the award is to assist with the cost of studying an undergraduate coursework program in the Colleges and offers students the chance to be recognised for their academic achievements. This scholarship is specifically designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Science, Health, or Medicine at ANU. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help cover educational expenses while recognising Indigenous students' academic merit and potential. Recipients receive $10,000 per annum for up to four years, with payments made per semester. The scholarship aims to increase access to higher education for Indigenous Australians and support their academic journey in STEM and health-related fields. Continuation of the scholarship is based on maintaining satisfactory academic performance throughout the duration of the undergraduate program.
