ANU Sport Elite Athlete Scholarship

The Australian National University may offer a number of awards known as the ANU Sport Elite Athlete Scholarship. The objectives of the Award are to attract elite athletes to the University; strengthen and support the University's sporting community and empower athletes to pursue excellence in both their academic and athletic endeavours. Funding for this Award has been provided by the ANU Sport and Recreation Association (ANU Sport). The scholarship is available to commencing ANU students who are recognized as elite athletes (para or able bodied) or coaches, and who demonstrate elite sporting achievement through national rankings, state team selections, or participation in national competitions. The Award supports athletes in balancing their academic studies with their athletic pursuits. Recipients must be enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs at the University and meet specific criteria related to their sporting achievements, including categorization by National Sporting Organisations, State Sporting Associations, or Player Associations, or holding scholarships with the Australian Institute of Sport or state/territory institutes and academies of sport.
